My "creation"
Well...my Subaru Saga began April 15, 2005. I am a dyed-in-the-wool German car guy, so the whole Subaru thing was foreign to me, but because of my great interest in gravel performance rally, I thought a Sube would be a cool car to have.
I bought my 92 SS with factory 5mt from my friend Todd Krawczyk, a longtime member of this board (-K-), (although no longer active - will have to fix that). When I got it, Todd had already installed an AWIC, a T-Bird Inbred turbo, and a nice clutch setup. It was running around 15psi when I bought it, and really hauled ass; especially compared to my 1983 Mercedes-Benz 240D.
Along with the other mods, Todd did a very nice job with the instrument cluster:
The first thing that had to be done was, of course, put loud exhaust on it. So the stock muffler disappeared, and a glasspack went in its place. While it sounded neat, it was kinda loud. So it got replaced with my current axleback; which is some random stainless muffler.
The car came with these gawdy chrome rims on it...which I decided really had to go.
They were replaced with these:
I then decided that it needed more power, so I got a VF8 turbo:
Along with that I decided to make a resonator delete:
I then got some WRX struts and Eibach springs for a good deal:
This is the car as of May 2007:
I then wore the tires out on the 15" rims, so I decided to get 16s:
Then I got a great deal on glass headlights and JDM corner lights:
Just last week, the car got AGX struts:
And I got a great deal on some 2.5RS wheels with Kumho Ecsta SPTs...since I ultimately want to run 4 pot brakes:

So two things happened this past week that I have been wanting to do for ages:
1)
3 inch mandrel bent exhaust (built by yours truly)
With HKS downpipe (that I scored for $80)
2)
440cc injectors. I finally got the buggers in and got the car decently well tuned, that is until I installed the new downpipe and it threw some things off...
And something that had to happen, since it kept blowing up radiators, was the Koyo superJDMtyte radiator
And here's a bonus pic of it sitting outside my place:
And it really needs a wash

No, I swapped them out for some off of an LS...Dynamic Entry wrote:did you paint your handles? why did a postlift have chromes?
And I always wondered why it had chrome handles too...

The Kumhos are awesome so far, best tire I have had on the car!!
the boost gauge isn't backlit, and it doesn't light up...
One day I will get off my ass and put a backlit one in there...
