Only problem is I don't smoke anymore and only did off an on in high school because my friends did and it was fun but it's been 4 years and I don't plan to start. I think you'd need to know weed pretty well to sell it and I don't.

I just spent the last 45 minutes trying to find the damn software to install on the pc. the website for greddy only had an update on their server, not the actual installation... but i was able to find it.

Couple of weeks ago i sold Matthew044 an FCD and after he got it called me about some installation instructions..

Well turns out while i was looking at my ecu plug that day i screwed up my FCD, so for the last 2-3 weeks i have had to keep my foot off until today. I finally got around to making another one and installed it (Under the hood) which worked out great. No write up because i was too involved in putting the damn thing together and hooking it up.

I was however pissed that Radioshack no longer carries the LM224 socket so i had to go with the LM324 as stated in vikash's writeup which really does work. Also when building my FCD i used a chip adapter to allow me to unpluig the LM324 and replace it with an LM224 when i can source one or decide to orderone online.

Anyways now im happy, now i have full boost and can get back to enjoying my ride.

Also, the HTC HD2 is badass!

Another thing i decided to start doing was my ecu patch harness for my greddy emanage ultimate.

First off everyone said it would be a bitch to remove the ecu plug off an ecu board... wrong. i just used some small wire cutters on each pin right at the board. worked out great only took 20-30 minutes.

then i had 2 sets of ecu plugs to mate together... so i pulled out all the pins i would need from one plug to fill the spots on the other plug that way i had every spot filled. Also, that worked great.

so here's what i have so far....




so this is just half of the process. im going to go find some epoxy that i think will work good enough to keep all my sodder points nice and stress free and also buy some more shrink wrap tubing. Maybe i will get this patch harness done this weekend.

i also have to extend some wires so that everything is the same length, i want it to look nice and uniform.

I'm starting to get excited!!!!!!

Sweet. Use that 5 min epoxy. I use it all the time and it's awesome. Get it at home depot or lowes. Dries super hard in 10 mins and is solid and dry in 5 mnins. Holds like 1500 lbs per square inch.

i might check that out... it's better then trying to come up with 140 bucks to buy a patch harness.. i cant afford that. i'd also rather buy lowering springs.

Consider yourself lucky with the ECU plugs. Mine was apparently more brittle, because I broke several pins trying to remove them.

So here's a pic of my FCD installed under my hood. It was really simple to install.



Today i sanded down my hoode and painted it primer grey, i know it's kinda tacky but the silver paint job i did (rattle can) looked like shit so i finally re-did the paint.

lol perhaps. I think my intercooler is doing more harm than good though. There's no scoop on it. It's always hot to the touch. I'm putting the scoop on today but I'm skeptical of how effective such a small scoop is on that location on the hood. There's not much airflow there and the scoop is so small. I really want a front mount. A V mount with reverse mounted manifold. Yeah.

It's definitely an interesting line up. I have a 4.444 final drive with TD05 and 2.0 block. You've got 2.2 with a TD04 and 3.90 final drive right? Also you have the front mount, I have the top mount. You've got stand alone and I have Rob Tuned ECU. They're totally different animals.

i have an un-installed piggyback... thaqt's why i said you're faster than me at the moment. haven't even started installing the emanage yet... gotta build the patch harness which i plan on doing today
