Car looks awesome. Paint that hood and it'll look even better. Also you should remove those amber tail light lenses. Cleans it up a lot.

Jump on the sideskirts/rear lip combo for sale in the parts shed. Makes the wagons look much more modern and aggressive.

-Thanks man. Like/love the TW more than the SS I think lol!
-Hood is coming soon. Buddy has a gun, I just need to get the paint code and paint to shoot it.
-Do you have a pic of what you're talking about on the taillight lenses?

Links pleez. I just joined up here last week and I am pulling the trigger on a beautiful unmolested stock '92 SS later this week. I'm so stoked to get the car. I have a 2012 Legacy GT also and I am active on LegacyGT.com.

-I know of many more SS's and TW's that didn't even show or hardly show or just don't show at all, to any of our meets. It would be cool to get all of us into one picture, but sadly chances are that would never happen.

-So, I picked up some injectors tonight but wondering if they will even work. My pic:
Image

-Original size:
http://hostthenpost.org/uploads/d47ca29 ... ffe7e1.jpg

-I was told they are out of a jdm ej205 2000 wrx 440cc. I believe I have confirmed that.

-Here is a close up of what mine look like (not my pic):
http://www.rexnet.com.au/forum/index.ph ... jectors%2F

-Based on the info I have gathered, this is correct. MY 99-00 v4/v5 wrx/sti phase two 440cc yellow top side feed injectors.

-On the middle black part, words on the injector say, "made in japan b8." Now I have two that say "b8" and two that say "b1." Don't know what that means but I'm sure I'm fine there.

-What I'm getting at is, are these going to work? Will they drop into my stock rails or do I need n/a rails? Or will they even work at all and did I waste my money? Any input is appreciated!

i believe they actually make a kit to allow the injectors to fit the stock rails don't quote me on it if their 440cc why not go with a set of grey top ej20g injectors ? those i believe bolt it in?

Early yellow tops were 480cc injectors, and new age were 525cc (560cc supposedly)

I think there was a user that was able to get them to work and some users that weren't able to get them to work. I don't think the stock ecu likes them at all. But the best I can say is if I had a set, I would try.

I have a set of 480cc yellow tops that I was wondering about too. A previous owner to my car told me I could run them with the stock ecu without issue but that they are the biggest I could go. He also said they will fit the stock rails. I just haven't had time to get them in. Interesting to know some have had success and others not. Going to have to search the threads now.

Joe....I heard there is a GT wagon at Colorado Auto Parts. It has the sideskirts and rear lip. Probably at a very good price if they are still there.

-Oh dang! I'm not off work till Thursday unfortunately. A friend has a set of skirts and rear lip he is trying to get rid of but I don't know what they are off of.

-So gathering more info, looks like I do need to get n/a fuel rails to get these to go in. More info would be nice but seems hard to find.

92-94 n/a rails....plentiful at all the Colorado Pull and Pay yards. They are direct bolt in, and use the same manifold to fuel rail o-ring. $40 max price I would say...just pop out the n/a injectors, so they don't charge you more.

Skirts and rear lip need to be off a 94 GT wagon, Alpine Sport....and some other rare trim wagon....can't remember.
