I gained some wiring confidence so I got back at it. Plus I added a swamp cooler so I could work in the heat.

So did I completely miss the fact that ej22na rails don't work on the G intake?

Yeah you did! You need ej25d fuel rails. The ej20g rails won't accommodate the yellow tops, only grays and 22t stock pinks.

Decided to finish other items until I find rails

Belt on and accessories getting there. Totally took apart the intake and hoses years ago so I have no idea where they go or what goes under/top of intake. If anyone has pics or advise I need help

Getting intake put together but can't remember where everything goes. Does anyone have pics of under the intake? I have been going through a bunch of build threads and have a lot figured out. There is a plastic line that goes under but it looks like mine is busted, where does it route to and from I may just make my own

Coolant line bolts to the block, with the same bolts that bolt in the crossover pipe. Vac lines... Only vac lines of concern are the purge lines, and the line down to the fuel px regulator. Also on the last pic you posted of the engine, looks like you don't have the two pipes coming up from the water pump, that go behind the cambelt.

Here's a link to the pics I took. The red manifold in the pictures has it's factory PCV lines installed, and the 3rd pic includes the pcv setup from another ej20g manifold.

Is the pcv the hard plastic line? I assume runs from the valve to the the lthe top of each valve cover. I must have broken it. Is there a USDM equivalent?

Thank you for the pics!!

Yes, the under manifold pcv line is hard plastic, and transitions to moulded rubber which go to each valve cover, and port on the back of the engine, and the pcv valve.

No USDM equivalent. What I would do (and did, on my 22t build) is use bulk pcv hose and T's to tie everything together like stock. Not as tidy as OEM, but the factory hoses are almost unobtanium, and $$$ if they are still stocked.

Getting somewhere! Went to the yard today and found a 2nd gen intake on the ground just for me to take it's fuel rails.
Image

Where does this hose from the left side of the iac go
Image

Where does the brake booster line go on this intake?
Image

For the PCV lines I found a 3rd gen outback and stole its line plus the 22t line on the back of the block to see if I can get it to work
Image

Couple more questions
Where to these need to attach to?
