Can you send me a picture of the Canadian version, I found an issue while fitting it to the car today, The shape does not work because the roof still has structure for the sunroof that interferes. Perhaps the Canadian one is a slightly different shape ?

The canadian one is slightly differently shaped, due to it not needing to fit around the automatic seatbelts. I have one installed in my car, I'll do my best to take pics.

Today I turned my attention to something that will put a smile on my face one day when I get to use it.... The Throttle pedal
Here are a few photos from the process

The rear and front top mounts are camber adjustable although the rears have very little movement because of the size of the hole in shell, I may be able to move the position of the screws that hold the adjuster in the plate if needed. I will look at the camber once I have a rear subframe and lateral linksThe front ones have much more
adjustment.

I apologize for not getting a pic of my headliner... I am linking to Kimo's build thread - he has one and took a few pics:

Thanks, I will need to do a custom one I think as I still have the lip in the roof from the sun roof but I want to have one that is for a car without a sunroof. I was just interested to know if there was a version that was different in shape to the one I have, it needs to be flat like the sunroof style, not raised for headroom above the seats like the one I have now.

This week has been a difficult one with the withdrawal of the Muscle Milk Picket racing from the Tudor series I am no Longer working for the team. I think given the chance we would have ran at the front again and challenged for wins. It was a great opportunity for me and winning the last ALMS championship before the merger of the two series was awesome. I am very disappointed that it ended like this and I hope that another opportunity like this will come soon. I will use this time to get more done on the Subaru, unfortunately The extra work from racing provided the much needed finances for this project :-(

Today I fit the JDM front bumper cover as I am having a person from Subaru of America come and take photos with the possibility of doing a article on the project, unfortunately I do not have the correct bumper support etc for it but I want it to look as it will when it's finished. I have also finished almost all the trim on the car, the front cowl and rear wheel arch trim pieces are on and the trim above the front and rear windscreens are in place. The window washer bottle and hoses are in and I have a lot more parts comming from Subaru soon to finish a lot of the small detail pieces

Nick,

Sorry to hear about the job. Did the team pull out from the series?

So the USDM bumper and foam piece does not fit the JDM bumper skin? Is the foam what is different? I think I've heard folks say the bumper beam is also smaller as well.

The foam piece does fit , the bumper beam is different, it's smaller and designed for the Air water Intercooler radiator so it's completely different.
The team I worked for has withdrawn from the series so they had to let everyone go, although there are still a couple of guys left. I will use this time to work on the Legacy and see how much I can get done:-)

Ok, thanks for the clarification.

That's a bummer, but like you said, sounds like a good opportunity to work on the Legacy :)

Today I received some parts from FedEx that I was very happy about, these are parts I had custom made by my friends at Aerodine Composites and they give the original set up a much more finished look. I am very happy with the result

So according to KBB, a 1991 Subaru Legacy Sport in excellent condition with 5 miles on it is worth $4,500.

I'll be generous and offer $5k whenever you are done. :)

^^ Ha ha ha. What a nice gesture.

Nick, those mirror panels are awesome! I'm always blown away at the detail in your build.

Any new news about the Subaru of America story?
Is that going to be in their Drive or Drive Performance magazine?

Heres the deal, The owner of Modesto Subaru came and looked at the car and he sent his Business manager over all his dealerships down to look at the car and took some pictures and now they are pushing to have Subaru Drive magazine come and photograph the car so at the moment he has been put in charge of trying to get some attention from Subaru so I will let you know if something happens with that but having the actual business manager working on it for me is great. The both agree that it is well worthy of some attention, so I am thankful for that

This weekend I was busy on the Legacy, I have painted the Trans Mount and the Diff and made a rear Strut brace out of a 2005 STI Impreza Brace.
