I finished fitting the new STI struts and springs and also the rear trailing arms and STI brake lines. The lines were a great decision, they made a significant difference and the brake pedal is much firmer now.

Since your going to NZ why don't you bring the type R back to the states, should be able to import it since it meets the 25 year law??

Yes, the Type R is coming back to the states next year, I'll drive it around while I'm down there then get it shipped over when I'm done.

What better way than to bring honor to Legacy-san than reliving it's former glory? Plus the OP used to prep these cars back when they WERE front line rally cars.

The Legacy got some parts ordered for it just before Christmas and I have the seats on their way from Japan in eight weeks. Things have been extremely busy for me and I have nearly finished two of the F1 cars now. Here's some photos

Nice work!

I see you're planning to run the AWIC pump on the Legacy. I spied it on a couple of the front brake photos.

It's just about four weeks to the trip to N .Z now and I'll finally get to spend some time driving my Impreza 22B and the 1990 Legacy type r I bought a while ago. I have been doing a lot for my shop but very little to the Legacy so I don't have any project updates. The Impreza has been repainted after someone spilled something over it that ruined the clear coat and stained the paint. I will get that back tomorrow.
I have bought a new truck and trailer and have finished and sold the second Shadow F1 car. I will be expanding into the shop next door in December and hopefully next thing on the agenda will be to get more done on the Legacy although it's been difficult with the work investments taking up the money.

I had a great trip to NewZealand and I was able to spend a lot of time driving my Legacy and 22B Impreza. The Legacy which is a 1990 Type r turned out to be a great car, I'm really happy with my descision to buy that on Trademe over a year ago. I spent a heap of time out driving it around and it's a fantastic little car which is so nice to drive. I hope you like the photos, I know there isn't much to this thread now but hopefully you'll find these interesting!
