I got it in and together. it's leaking oil... behind pan middle of motor. thinking the o-ring for the wrist pin hole might be the culprit. I had issues getting it to run, it fires up, idles for a second then dies. Need to do some more inspecting, gonna throw it on the lift and check to see where the oil is leaking from first.

Did u reseal it since u had the motor out? And mine had a nasty vacuum leak when first started, found out it has the intake gasket. Hope u get it figured out.

And that must be a tight squeeze for the piping to go by the valve cover, radiator, and frame rail....no more factory overflow tank lol

Car is done motor wise. It ended up being a ton of vac leaks, and the oil leak was a bad grommet for the valve cover. Everything seems to run smooth and the car is QUICK, so much fun over the 22T. I am very happy.

It's a sad sad day, but I blew a hole through the top of the block. Not sure what went wrong as I saw no signs of engine failure at all until it exploded.

This car is going to be stripped, and scrapped :( The core support and firewall are damaged as well as the chassis is just not clean at all. I found a new 93' shell, that will take place of this car. I'm going to build a 22T block with 25D heads and 20G manifold, 18G turbo and 850cc injectors and hopefully make 350+ whp with ESL tune.

Stay tuned for a new thread, RIP 92' Leggy :(

Figured I'd post a few more pics. It's waiting for a new engine right now. I decided to KEEP this shell and just fix everything. I have a weird attachment to this car.. lol.

There have been so many hold ups. But now it's back in the shop, gettin ready to pull the 2 liter I blew up and see what went wrong. Going to purchase another 20G engine here soonish once I get some financial shit in order. It's been sitting since this last October and I parted everything good off of it. IE: RobTune, 550's, FMIC, fuel pump, other various shit. But it'll be back soon.

Well I ended up selling the shell. I got a new 93' SS that will be the new project. Pretty sad not gonna lie... but it's gonna get the love it needs. I'll update this when I start with the new car.

Interesting. ESL Tuning makes a way better option for about the same price. Turns a stock 22T or 20G ECU into a full standalone with opensouce tuning.

Yup.

Mike is having his tuned on the 30th, so I'd wait and see how that works out.

Nice. If I don't find a decent price RobTune I'm going with ESL. It really seems like the future for our cars if you want more than what rob can offer, which I personally love. His tune is the perfect daily drive tune in my opinion. But I want 850's and to tune MAP. I drove a 257/25D combo engine on ESL with 850's and a blouch 16g. The power was incredible after the dyno tune.
