Water-to-Air intercooler completed and tested.

Post by Boostedballs »

I built a small A/W intercooler setup and it paid off.
it dropped my 1/4 mile time from 16.4 to 15.9 with stock boost control on the 4EAT.

setup includes: small intercooler mounted right near throttlebody; heater core from my old car with motorcycle fan mounted under battery tray; shurflo pump mounted under ABS system; used the windshield washer tank as the reserviour. 5/8 hoses connect it all.
Two 30A switches mounted on the dash, one for fan and the other for pump.

water/meth is plumbed into intercooler and so is NOS injector. I'll be installing the rest of the NOS soon.

Photos to come!!!.................
Air-to-Water Intercooler, VF-39, 550 injectors, AEM FIC, stainless race header, 3" stainless exhaust, 75hp Nitrous, 150psi H2O injection, intake mods, stock: long block, 4EAT, ecm.
