I just bought a wrx bracket and modded to fit my txt intercooler.

Fxt is a bitch to work. I suggest not using it at all. Read my thread for reasons why not

I'm also going to be using an FXT intercooler on my build in progress, and I am simply going to bust out the welder and make a low-profile, 90 degree adapter out of plate steel and tubing. I can probably make a few extras if others are interested. :-)

It's not just that it is closer than on the wrx tmic, it is angles down more too.

Yeah, I mocked my intercooler up a few days ago to check the clearance again...still should be no problem. I have a long ways to go on the rest of the motor, but I'll post up pictures of my BPV adapter as soon as I make it.
