using a wrx top mount on my car
i have a top mount from a 02 to 04 wrx how can i use it and if not what intercooler will work for me?

just finished reinstalling my 02 WRX TMIC after changing baclk to the stock turbo. not as hard as people say it is to put in, just need to persuad the firewll with a hammer and dont hit the brake lines lol

turtle, you can use lots of different turbos without having to change engine mgmt.
but, a $80 06 intercooler will fit much nicer. if your adding an i/c you may as well at least put in a td04 turbo, it makes things much much easier.

the silver one you have will bang against the firewall even if you hammer it in and it fits kinda slanty. the 06 07 ones fit really nice and look better to.

ok so i picked up a td04 just the other day and i want to get the 06IC. but one question i have is what is the silver looking thing in the picture above? the thing that is on the intercooler and is next to the number 4?

Yes, its where your BOV attaches to. you'll need some sort of adapter plate. In my installation guide, I used a "Wyntonm BOV blow off adaptor" from ebay.
