How difficult is it to find the parts? Are they on all usdm legacy rs's?

the USDM Legacy was never sold with the RS badge

they also came with a very different motor, having 2.2L, SOHC and NO INTERCOOLER even on the turbo models

the JDM turbo legacy had the AWIC

some JDM and EDM turbo Imprezas (93-98) had AWIC I think, but some had a 'slanty' top mount. I don't remember/know which model years had which
*edit*^^^^ NO IMPREZAS had AWIC

so generally the AWIC set up is hard to come by in North America. Many can be found if you want to fly to New Zealand.....

the cores are for sale from time to time here, but to get all the plumbing and the heat exchanger is less common

...and not really worth your troubles. Especially for a setup that's over 15 years old and hasn't been used on any STi or other Subaru since.

Saw one sell on eBay recently for 41.00 USD. It didn't come with all the other bits required though.

Heres the link: eBay

If you really want to go AWIC, I can point you in the right direction.

With the cooler weather in Canada, the AWIC will in theory work better than an FMIC.
Yes I have too many Subarus
No you can't have one

I had an AWIC on my SS with a VF39 at 20 psi and it worked great...

And no, they never came on Imprezas
