08 Forester intercooler

hi everyone,
did a bit of searching and didnt come up with any thing so here goes.
i've been looking for a 06-07 wrx tmic locally but no luck so far.
i got a reply today on my local forum with a 08 forester tmic.
looks like the 06-07 tmic but not sure.
so just wondering if any one know's if it like the 06-07 wrx tmic.

car it's going into is a 94 legacy GT wagon.

idk what year but i think you can use it probly. i have one from a forester and it looks like this but with the bov on and i just bought an sti 1 and its not as wide but its deeper and looks like its made better so hopfully i can use it

I forget what is different, but it can work, it's what I have, haven't installed it yet though. IIRC it was just some minor difference.

dunno what to say but the wrx might be better if u wanna run more booste

According to this, the Forrester and 06-07 are the same

EDIT: DEPENDS ON THE YEAR - '06-08 Forester TMIC are same as '06-07....don't use '04-'05.

No offense, but they aren't.....here's a POST that shows the difference.

The BPV and their mounts are different. The Forester will likely hit the throttle cables.

The intercoolers aren't the same, of have an fxt intercooler and am giong to have to do some cutting on the y pipe I bought off ebay.

DON'T GET THE FXT INTERCOOLER, unless you're getting some sort of adapter to just run the stock turbo leggy bpv. The fxt bpv bumps right into your throttle and doens't fit.
