2002 Wrx TMIC
Just wondering if any one on here has a TMIC and maybe even a Td04? I'll take one or the other, or both. Should I be getting onto NASIOC?

Yes nasioc is the place to look and this thread needs to be a wtb ad in the parts shed. Also, don't bother with the 02-05 wrx intercooler. It doesn't fit well. Get only the 06-07 wrx intercooler.

Re: 2002 Wrx TMIC
newer outback TMIC works really well to.. they are a little smaller tho..
shorter and wider, but they fit better in the gen 1

Re: 2002 Wrx TMIC
Where can I get one? I tried posting on NASIOC but I guess I have to be approved. Is there a buid thread on here for the outback tmic.
Thanks
Robert

Keep posting in other sections on nasioc until your post count is high enough to post in the classifieds. Or if you find one for sale pm the person selling it. Check craigslist and put a wtb ad in the parts shed here. Check rs25 messageboard and sli. The forester forum. Tons of places you can get one.

Re: 2002 Wrx TMIC
i got mine off of e-bay, complete with y-pipe... warning tho, if you have a stock turbo, it wont just bolt up to any stock y-pipe.. the outlet of the turbo is at a different angle on gen 1's. gen 1's use a vr11 turbo and newer intercoolers are made for a td04.. you will have to figure out how to adapt the turbo outlet to the intercooler inlet..
to be honest i have a td04 so im not 100% on what you will need, sorry
