FS: 1993 SS 5-speed - $OLD- North Idaho SOLD

Post by wtdash »

SOLD

Runs and looks great. Mostly stock (see below).

- Selling as I bought a WRX project (& I change cars a lot).

- Delivery possible.

- 151,040 miles (10/9/14)

Updates/upgrades:
- STi fuel pump
- WRX metal turbo coolant tank
- Newer Exedy Stage 1 clutch <10K miles.
- STI Transverse Link/lower control arm bushings
- Subframe lock down bolts (LINK)
- WRX short shifter
- Shifter linkage Bushings
- Kartboy Transmission mount bushings
- New 205/55R/16 tires on WRX rims

- Manual Seat Belts
- Newer speakers in front

- 2.5 owners (2nd owner had it for about a month - wanted better MPG - sold it to me).
- Body is in good shape - NO RUST - CA and Seattle car (one N. ID winter). A few scratches (no- they can't be 'buffed out'). Driver's front fender replaced w/a OEM Subaru (paint is off a shade).
- Interior is in good shape. A couple of cracked interior pieces (upper door trim)
- Sunroof leaks in heavy rain (even though PO supposedly fixed it - not).
- Small crack in lower left of windshield.

Pics (I was NOT trying for an 'effect'- poor lighting):

Re: 1993 SS 5-speed worth more stock or Rob-tuned w/mods?

You'll make more money if you sell the car as stock, then sell off the upgrades piece by piece.

I like the mods you've made to the ss!

Just one thought: Depending on how much the fenders are rolled, you may want to keep the 225's on when you sell the ss.

Why?

They'll probably sell w/the car, since I didn't have the stock SS wheels.

With the fenders rolled, even if they're not pulled, there will appear to be a larger gap between the fenders and tires with the stock (skinnier) tires. So, basically, it's aesthetics. Some prospective buyers are particular when it comes to things like that. I'm saying this from the experience I have had.

I guess if you're in a hurry to sell, leave the parts on and you'll get more than a bone stock SS. But not even close to what they cost you of course
