FS: (2) 93 Legacy SS Sedans

Sadly the time has come. I warned about it a few months ago, BUT HERE IT IS:

We have too many cars, and must thin the herd. I am not selling because I want to, but because I have run out of parking space.

2 cars, one ad.

FS: 1993 White Legacy SS.
Backstory: We bought the car about 2001 off of ebay. The car was in Philadelphia PA, and had been a one owner car. It had 119,000 on it when we bought it. It has about 275,000 on it now. The Previous owner garaged it and did all maintenance at the dealership. But it needed new struts and a few other things, and that was why he sold it.

The good: The Car's upholstery was re-done in 2004, and it still looks great. We kept the original inserts and replaced the black in the front and back seats. The turbo is a TD05-(Super 16G), which puts out almost as much as an 18G. It has a full 3 inch exhaust front to back. The injectors are 565s ( I know, strange size) and it is running a 06 WRX top mount. The tuning is done by a perfect power-6, and was done by a couple high level local tuners. It is running about 220hp/240tq at the wheels at 14 lbs boost. Right now the limiting factor is the heads, ( I bought ones to fix that issue and I can include those in the sale),
Brakes are the 4/2 pot set-up. Suspension is AGX/ with slightly lower springs ( check my old posts to confirm the manufacturer).
Front and rear strut tower bars and a whiteline 20/22/24 rear sway bar.
It has a 91 rear VSLD in the back.
I put in JDM fogs, and JDM power folding mirrors, and EDM headlights with levelers, and EDM rear lights with the rear fog option.
The wheels on it are JDM 17X7s, and the spare is also the same wheel. It has continental Contact High Performance all seasons on it in 215/45/17
It has a clifford alarm in it.
I put in five autometer gauges for observational needs.

The bad: The sunroof is starting to have closing issues. I can vent up and down no problem and open, but it won't close when I open it. It also has a small pinhole leak on the drip rail on the passenger side: so when it rains hard it drips a little on that side. ( I was going to fix it, just have not gotten around to it.)
I replaced the clockspring a couple years ago, and in having to use a newer one, the turn signal return pins are not in the right place.
The original trunklid started to get rust around the mounts for the wing on the driver's side. I put a wingless trunk on it for now. I will include the other trunk.

FS: Maroon 1993 Legacy SS about 250,000 miles

Backstory: One of my friends on the forum here has a pristine white 1991 Legacy SS with 90,000 miles. UNTIL a nice old lady T-boned him. So he picked up this 1993 Winestone car to put the guts in.
SADLY< he forgot the differences between the years and botched the job. Then he got promoted at work and had to move from Idaho to Alaska. Since the car did not run, he sold it to me and I limped it to Tacoma and got to work on it. He pinched the TPS wire which was the majority of the problem. That and he had them machine down the clutch so far it was out of spec. ( he also pulled all the air conditioning parts), but he did put in the 91's read VLSD.

Being the anal person I am, I proceeded to build something different.
It got a new SPEC clutch, JDM 440's, and matching JDM TD05-16G, JDM Air water top tank, a HUGE air to Water front radiator, 3 inch bellmouth exhaust, JDM 02 WRX springs/struts, JDM front strut tower bar,

Somehow last year, I broke 5th gear in this car, so I put in a 93 JDM WRX RA transmission with about 45,000 miles on it. It took care of the syncho issues, but it is NOT a good highway transmission as it has the same gears as a 2005 STI transmission EXCEPT IT IS MISSING THE STI's 6th GEAR.

THIS CAR THEN WENT TO ROB, and from this car Rob started the 4-2 converter and improved the Robtune. So this car has the original 4-2 converter on it, and a JDM ECU with a Robtune ( set to 16psi)

The BAD: The previous owner never garaged the car, so all horizontal paint is crap, and all vertical paint surfaces still look good. The is a small dent in the passenger rear door. I had to replace the driver's door handle.

The car has JDM 17x7's on it including the spare. ( Right now the pictures show Prodrive P1's on it. They can go with the car for a little bit more.)

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I am probably forgetting things.
Right now I am pricing it at:
White: $3750
Maroon: $3000

NOW- some are going to ask: am I going to be flexible with this: I say yes, but that means I may end up swapping for other wheels or not adding in the extras. But understand that I really want more for these, but I know what the current going price is for these cars and adding in the non-stock parts, I could part these out and make more than I am asking.

Those that know me know I am ANAL when it comes to these cars. ( Steve at PIA thinks I invent things for him to fix so I can hang out there more.) I drive these weekly.

I will put all the pictures here: http://s539.photobucket.com/user/dscoob ... ary/Legacy

Yes these cars get driven weekly if not daily by the wife. Three years ago I did a cross country trip in the white one. If I had any issues with the mileage I would not have done that. Since that trip I have not had any reason to put any serious mileage on it. I own another three subarus besides these two, a truck and I have a car provided by work. So count that as SEVEN cars parked at the house and you can understand why I have to sell a few. Wife really does not want to get rid of either.

Might be a stretch, but willing to trade the Robtune 440 setup on the maroon car (ECUs, Injectors, turbo) for a TD04, stock injectors, and a factory ECU plus cash on top?

My issue with the trade is I am out when I include the time /labor involved with doing the swap. I have a spare turbo, ecu and I can source injectors for you if you really want to do it. It's worth it but the mod is NOT cheap.

It is with sadness that I have let my white car go, but happy that it went to a board member. Seth: I hope you enjoy the car as much as I have over the last 12 years.
