need opinions on my exhaust

Post by 1994LT »

so im gonna upgrade my exhaust regaurdless but i don't know what route to take. i thought about just buying a turbo back and throwing it on or just buying the down pipe and just throw in some 3" piping with a muffler and maybe a resonator. what do you guys think? and im alittle tight on money.

thanks in advance

I've got the latter setup... 3" dp, exhaust tubing, resonator, muffler. Not too crazy loud, but still gets some looks occasionally while driving by.

If you're tight on money, get an ebay WRX exhaust and have the axleback modified.

"A little tight on money" and "turbo back" don't go together very well. Buy a decent and not ricey catback, if you have enough do the same for midpipe/downpipe. Why waste money on cheap crap that will sound like crap and rust in a year?

Just keep an eye out in FS forums on Subaru boards, you can get good deals.

It cost me $80 to have a catback made with my own muffler, most places wanted $200, just to give kind of an idea on what it would cost to go custom
