Manifold replacement for '93 N/A Legacy?

Post by Bender-san »

I've got a cracked manifold (again) on my '93 wagon, and I can't seem to find another OEM unit that is in reasonable condition. Is there anything short of a full custom setup that will work as a replacement? If need be, I can relocate the cat further downstream, but I'm more concerned about the manifold/header specifically. Is there anything else pre-made that will fit more-or-less in the stock location?

....and yes, I tried searching without positive results. :-)

You can try using a header/manifold pipe from a mid-to-late 90's Legacy/Impreza. The mounting point is different to the center pipe, so that would have to be modified to fit your stock exhaust, but that may be a better option.

I have a feeling I'll have to get a custom mid-pipe made to house the relocated catalyst, so that's probably the option I'll go with. Thanks!
