weight difference of 1gen and wry exhaust?

Post by Hinano »

I have a 90 awd 5 speed. I have access to a free 04 wrx exhaust. I know of the modifications needed to fit. I am wondering about the weight and perhaps if there is any power to gain when in conjunction with obx headers.

I'm willing to bet they are nearly identical if its a stock exhaust.

If its an 02-05 WRX, it has an additional cat in the up pipe that the SS doesnt have. So the WRX one is heavier. If you're just talking the turbo back, then they should be pretty even.
