I need some advice, preferably from those who have done the 20g swap. But any advice is welcome.
94 legacy, put in a rebuilt 20g from a 96 wrx, cranks but no start. I have fuel, spark, and compression is 130 across the board except for cyl 4 which is 120. But do note that the engine was cold and the rings are still not set since I cant start the damn thing. (maybe the issue?).
Timing is good.
Even checked to make sure I put the cams in right and they are.
No codes.
Replaced the crank and coolant temp sensor. (cam sensor maybe?).
Using 20g ecu.
Did the 4 to 2 ignition conversion.
The engine ran when I first put it in, granted it was only on 3 cylinders since the intake valves on #2 were not sealing. Did not touch any wiring since then.
Also, when I crank it it also likes to pop and sputter from time to time.
Any suggestions welcome.
