Increasing Fuel Pressure 7psi?

Post by napphappy »

What do you think would be the results of increasing fuel pressure by 7.1psi?

I ask because that is the increase if you run a STi FPR. And I consider runing one becuase, they can be had cheap, and they have a hose barb in and out, which is nice for running parallel fuel rails.

Yeah, worse mileage, and probably less power, unless you tune things. I don't know the percentage on how much 7.1 psi gives you in terms of flow....or if it's in the range that the stock ECU can compensate for.
