there are a bunch of small elves that position themselves in the header and fart a bunch to keep the turbo spooled...
Well, actually...it's mostly just a timing modification. Essentially, I retard my timing to 40 degrees ATDC, in the upper part of my rpm range, and just stomp on the gas, and the motor loads up and starts combusting fuel in the exhaust manifold, and begins to spool the turbo, and as a byproduct shoots 4 foot flames out of the exhaust pipe.

Yeah, I only do it for like 10 seconds at a time...
But no, antilag is not turbo friendly

How much boost were you able to build?
2009 Outback 2.5XT. 5MT. Satin White Pearl.
2009 Impreza 2.5i Premium. Blue.

6-7 psi...the initial part of the video is just getting the manifolds warm enough, and once it starts popping flames, it is actually building boost...
When I let off the accelerator, I heard the bpv blow off

I need to get it set up on a switch first, so I can go between ALS and my normal map...right now I just change it with my laptop...
Once I do that I will do a WOT launch (in the daylight

Looks awesome!
Don't change maps with your laptop while you're driving. You might lose a floorpan.
By about how much would this shorten a turbo's lifespan?
