ECU advise: apexi on 22t?

Post by Martin_Subaru »

Hi
I need some advice on my project. I am building an EJ22T with forged internals EJ25D heads, 550cc injectors and a td05-16g.
I have a 4 plug Apexi fc power commander ecu for en EJ20G will it be able to work on my EJ22 i am maninly thinking about ignition now that the 22T uses coil pack and the 20G uses coil on plugs.

Thanks in advance.

You can either use an ignition converter that robtune sells, or convert to coil on plug. Both are feasible ways to run that ecu, but converting to coil on will probably be a better option if you plan to crank the boost. There's a write-up by kimokalihi on how to do that.
