05 STI lateral Links

Post by snowjob »

I've got the chance to pick up a set of 05 sti lateral links and trailing links for 99 shipped to my house, will these fit? I know I may have to change my endlinks for the swaybar, but would they be useful, anyone tried, thanks

No. The STi has a wider track than we do, so the lateral links are wider. You could get them to work, but they would make your rear end all wide tracked and ghetto looking. The STi also has different hubs, so I don't know that they will work.

The GC rear arms should be the same length though, if you can score a set of those.

Can you say "negative camber", 1/4-1/2 is a lot when it comes to the alignment.

Yes it will have adverse affects on how the car handles, drives, etc.
