Whiteline Products

Post by FrmRgz2Rchz »

I heard whiteline makes the best suspension parts for Subarus, but I can only find an anti-lift kit for our car from them. I also found a swaybar on ebay, but it's not for the US spec. Are there any parts, for, say an impreza, that I could make work with some modifications.

You should visit the whiteline sight, find the pdf with the product listing, write down the part number then find a whiteline distributor and order the part.

Any real whiteline distributor can get any of the parts listed. Usually they can have them shipped directly to you from whiteline.

The problem isn't that I can't find anything for our cars, it's that they don't make anything for them other than the anti-lift kit.

Look around the popular Subaru performance parts dealers online. Here are some that list other Whiteline parts for Legacies online.

If the problem is that you see parts listed for newer generation Legacies only, instead of our BC-BF's, ask these for the authoritative answer. Many parts transfer and I guarantee someone on this list has tried it :D

Here's is Whiteline's application guide for springs

http://www.whiteline.com.au/docs/catalo ... D3_app.PDF

Here's their full catalog (warning 1.44mb) http://www.whiteline.com.au/docs/catalo ... 3_full.PDF

As far as suspension stuff goes....pretty much anything you can put on an impreza will work in some form on our legacies......there's a couple tid bits and complications depending on your particular year....but should work.

I just installed a set of sti (new age wrx) struts and springs w/ sti top hats.
so ( I would think) any impreza suspension part should work

Although, I've heard one impreza part that doesn't transfer to the Legacy is the rear sway bar, because Legacies have a bigger bulge for the spare tire or something like that.

rear anti-sway bar would be something I would recommend on getting a car specific part.

Thats right. The impreza bar has only 8 bends while the bc-bf bar has close to 20!

My beef with PDM is they don't want any phone contact. I don't like that.

I can usually find comparable prices else where that don't mind phone contact....so I go that route......but that's my only beef with them......
