93 AWD Legacy SW to Forester strut swap advice needed

I swapped my wagon springs and mounts over to a set of 03-08 forester struts. fits good and has an inch of lift
If I used the springs too I would expect the more lift see above pics
I think the newer 03+ forester / impreza mounts might fit the rears
I've used a couple of sets of coilovers that fit without mods but I think its due to the flat topped mounts
