which springs to get?

Post by WastingLight »

hey everyone, so i have a '94 legacy wagon FWD and the suspension is shot. ive already bought a set of KYB GR-2 struts, i would like to lower the car slighty maybe an inch and firm up the ride. what would be my best option to accomplish this while not spending a lot of money? any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the BBS.

Probably the cheapest option is to use some Impreza springs. I'd suggest checking out this thread for more info about the different options.

hey thanks so much for the reply, now that topic says i can use 02-03 WRX springs without modification and i found a set of H&R springs that say they lower a WRX about 1.5", how low would that be on my legacy? since, im assuming, the WRX rides lower stock.

I'm not sure how low it would make your legacy, but if you can find some info on what stock WRX springs do to the legacy ride height and then subtract 1.5".
