What is the strut intended for? GD or GC?

I got these. Says they are for 92-94 legacys

And the tophats in question are from your 94 correct?

yes sir they are. Not sure if those get worn like the struts do but in any case, can i use them?

going to be pairing those struts with some H&R springs. Cant wait to see the change in stance and feel cause my front struts are shot right now.

They do wear out over time. I don't know if you could find any aftermarket ones that fit your car, but the dealership will charge you several hundred for new ones.

cant afford new ones so ill just keep my fingers crossed that that will install with what it have..

BTW, there's a meet tonight at Washington Square Mall. Sears parking garage top floor @8pm. i'll be there with my 'light winestone' SS.

That sucks!! just got off of work otherwise i would have met up.. I have the next 2 days off if anything else is going on. My GR-2's should be here friday so if your down for saturday id be more than happy to kick you a half a tank for some help. I'll PM you my # for easier communication.
