Will these bolt right up to a 1994 L Sedan???

I know a lot of 1st gen Impreza parts are compatible when it comes to suspension pieces, but I haven't seen anything about trailing arms.

Those will fit.

They look heavier than the stock piece.

What is the goal?

Any 90-99 ones should fit. Why not grab one from a yard? If I didnt just have my appendix removed yesterday I could grab one for you for maybe 1/4 the price.
