Outback Sport springs

Post by kleinkid »

Wonder what these will do to ride height on my 1991 Legacy SS? Changed top hats a long tome ago to accommodate Impreza springs. Currently on KYB AGX with Whiteline lowering sprigs.

Guessing the OBS springs would lift car higher than stock.

I really don't think they'll lift it. The OBS has a very small lift over std Impreza, and Impreza springs are shorter to begin with. And the springs will be softer than the Legacy's by quite a bit, which will effect ride height too.

This is pure conjecture though. I don't think I've seen anyone use OBS springs on a 1st gen.

I posed this question to one of my esteemed Subaru consultants, and it was calculated that these springs will lift .8" (eight tenths) over stock height. So around 2-2 1/2" lift for this car. Will be installing soon.
