There is an output shaft seal that can leak. Is the car jacked up? is it at any sort of angle where the rear is lower than the front? there's usually some fluid that will come out when the driveline is removed. I would clean the area and see if more fluid comes out before purchasing the seal. The seal is only 4-8 bucks at autozone.

Car is sitting somewhat leveled and I did a few test drives after replacing rear hubs but it leaks drops over night if it sits and bigger if I drive it a little and let sit

Oh that sucks. If I recall I think it was 5.99 to get the seal.

Any guides or tips on replacing the seal if needed the trans was just fully rebuilt with a forester trans so I would assume they replaced the seal

If that's the case they should be liable for the seal.

The original owner had the work done and I'm sure they would give me shit so I'll probably just replace it today, I was thinking I may have messed it up a little white installing the shaft

Oh, ok. It's pretty simple to do. Ever done a cam seal? It's practically the same. Pull old one out, grease new seal and install.

Make sure the slip yoke on the driveshaft is smooth. I've had to replace mine along with the transmission tail housing because the bushing was bad inside the housing. If the bushing is bad the new seal will leak also. Hopefully the seal was damaged when you installed the driveline.

Put in a new seal and now it leaks very little but still makes wet spots
