+1 on results.
Nasioc claims the Duplicolor chrome gold is a close match, I do not agree.

Re: gold wheel paint
I concur, Duplicolor metalcast gold is FTL! They do, however, make a dark gold/bronze wheel paint that looks pretty good. I like the older (~93-96), darker WRC gold better than the newer, lighter STi gold that grimmspeed has replicated.Apex3 wrote:+1 on results.

I can provide pics of the darker gold on WRX wheels, if anyone is interested.

Re: gold wheel paint
For the sake of posting pictures. Here is just a random spray paint that looked like what I wanted. If anyone wants to know what it is I can try to find the can when I get home this weekend. I'm gonna try to find something more like the old WRC gold though on the Legacy, or the early GC.
Not a great pic, but best I can find

Thanks, pics are scattered around, and it keeps changing, so you likely have seen more but I don't have a whole lot of pictures.Florin1 wrote:I notice your turn signals are completely amber... Looks kinda cool. Nice car btw, why haven't i seen MOAR pix yet?
Sorry dude, that's why I said "Not a great pic, but best I can find" I don't have the wheels anymore so I can't take more pics. I only posted because this thread was lacking pictures, if I come across a better one I'll share.SiCkSTi04 wrote:Apex3, we need close up's of the wheels lol

Re: gold wheel paint
The original gold used on most BBS wheels is from Wurth.

Re: gold wheel paint
So I used 2 cans on them(stock wheels) and one can of clear. I think they look pretty good, but I don't know about how good the paint will hold up. I have had them on the car now for 5 days and they seem to do good, but no tellin yet. The other wheels (wrx) are not a bbs gold match. The fello that I got them just powdercoated them a gold color, but not the bbs gold, and they are really dirty in the pics.
