Hub question

Post by Lowie »

Wasn't sure where to put this....

but I think the rear hubs on my Legacy are pretty much done. Now a junkyard near me has a 98 Legacy, would the hubs from that fit onto mine?

They also have an 04 Outback, 07 & 08 Impreza WRX's as well, but I just assume those won't work since they're a different bolt pattern I believe.

The 98 hub should work. I have a different 90s Subaru hub on each corner, including one from that body style. The newer stuff has the same bolt pattern (only the STI, and Tribecca are different, as far as the new stuff is concerned), but in the case of that outback - different style suspension in the rear, and the 07 WRX has different style backing plate which won't work with your brakes, and 08 WRX has different suspension mounting points as well.

Alright, thanks. Hopefully mine aren't gone, and if they are, hopefully the Legacy at the scrappers still has it's hubs intact.
