Rally handbrake

Post by keithmoilanen »

Has anyone done a rally style handbrake. Wish I had a video on how they make them. Any words of wisdom would help greatly

I did, with a brake bias valve plumbed in as well. Unless this is an actual race car, I wouldn't bother. I ended up redoing the entire brake system from scratch, removing the ABS pump, stock proportioning valve, etc.

LOT of work, but for me the benefits are great on stage.

I went the dual master cylinder route (front and rear are separate) and added a handbrake. I can echo that its a lot of work and does make it nice for a stage but I also think I rely on it too much now and I feel lazy. I posted a vid in my build thread the other day.
