Putting 02 GT wheels on my 91'

Post by Rembly »

Bought these 02 GT wheels for my wagon, in the processing on painting them black and getting new tires!

This is after sanding and two coats of primer:

A little update:

First coat of black engine enamel went on today, looks pretty good. Will be applying second coat tomorrow. Then wait a few days and then do a few clear coats. Should have them on by the end of next week :-D

These are throughout spraying.

I love those wheels. I got an offer for mine I couldn't refuse (the equivalent of $550), otherwise I'd still be rocking them.

I do like the white! But I'm not sure how it would look on my red subie so I figured blacks a safe bet! I picked these up for 350$ with nice Bridgestone billzak snow tires that have bout 75% tread left which I thought was a great deal till I found a hole in the sidewall of one tire. After I paint em going to put 500$ worth of rubber on them and begin the search for a matching snow tire!!

You think I should go white instead?

I think the white will stand out much better than the black. It's up to you. Hold the wheel up to the exiting tire on the car and have someone take a picture of it so you get an idea of what it will look like in white.

White would be cool! Wheels would pop! Im seriously considering it! Ill put a wheel next to my car to see how it looks! Most likely going to go black since i have the paint and im getting a tint soon plus tinting my tail lights! Black, Black, black!
