Legacy 555 wheels

Post by slipknot51 »

So I have been searching the internet for awhile and I've turned up with nothings. I'm looking for the rims featured on the Legacy 555 blue wrc car I know that they are 15 inch wheels. I have no clue who made them or where I might be able to find some of the rims. I've found a few after markets that look similar to the wheels featured in the fallowing pictures. My plan is to paint my car to match and do a kind of replica version of the Legacy 555 rally car

They are speedlines, made by or for prodrive. If you search speedlines on this forum you'll find the model #, or at least I did. Out of production for almost 2 decades now.

Still on the speedline website: http://www.speedlinecorse.co.uk/afterma ... er2110.htm

Think you'd have to contact vermont sports car to get a set.

I thought rota made some wheels just like them but from looking at their site apparently not.

Oh yeah, the spokes aren't flush with the lip on the one I posted. I like that version better.

Aww that makes me sad that they dont make them in 15's any more i know the rally car according to the info i read ran 15 or 16's. there also a little out of my price point. Ill just keep with my stock turbo rims and all seasons/ winter tires and find a set of rally rims some where for 15's

Slipknot you are in luck.

I tried to find a set of Speedline 2010s or 2012s (can't remember which one the 5 spoke is). It is pretty much impossible. But...
Guys who build Audi S1 replicas have the same problem. I saw on a couple builds that they use Compmotive reps.

http://www.comp.co.uk/wheels/wheels.asp ... =mo5-26-13 - 5 spoke wheels
http://www.comp.co.uk/wheels/wheels.asp ... =mo6-28-13 - 6 spoke wheels

I haven't bought a set myself as my RS 6 spokes are doing the job right now. But its going to be these guys or Volk for my final choice.
