Cody,

If all you're looking for is the brakes, you can run the 4-pots on your existing spindle without any modifications. The rear WRX suspension & hubs should bolt up.

At least in the US, the WRX sedan had a wider front track (I'm not 100% sure about the rear track), but the wagon was the same as our Legacies. Hopefully someone can confirm, but I'm pretty sure you could bolt up the rear WRX suspension components without a problem or just swap the rear spindle.

i would like to get the wider track

and i was thinking what i dont use i can re sell from the ad but if i can use the front a-arms then thats a plus i would just think i would need the front axels.

now if the trailing arms are the same do you know off hand if the wrx ones a better or are they the same?

The 4 pot/2 pot brake conversion and the wide-track conversion are completely separate. They do not involve the same parts.

Brake conversion:

Front: 4 pot calipers, 4 pot pads, 2002-2007 WRX rotors (2 or 4 pot are the same).

Rear: 2 pot calipers, 2 pot pads, 2006-2007 WRX rotors, either (A)Kartboy caliper adapters or (B) 2006-2007 WRX backing plates. The alternative to (B) is complete 2006-2007 WRX rear knuckles and hubs.

Wider-track conversion:

Front: WRX/STI sedan lower control arms, WRX/2004 (only)STI sedan struts, WRX sedan CV shafts, WRX/STI sedan roll bar.

Rear: WRX/STI sedan lateral links, WRX/STI sedan struts, WRX sedan CV shafts, possibly WRX/STI sedan trailing links.

Note: Years and models specified are USDM. There are other alternatives, but you can research on your own. Also, 2005+STI stuff is not listed or recommended unless you also with to convert to the larger wheel bolt pattern.

So for the 2 pot rear all you would need is the bracket and new rotors?

That's it. I had to grind a tad, but many report that it's not always needed.

Great thanks. On my WRX I found a set of 2006 WRX rear hubs and used those. I think they would fit on the Legacy but I might as well change the lateral links, trailing arms and sway bars to something nicer like STi stuff.
