My experiences were stock-ish vs stock-ish. Rubber lines, sliding calipers, parts store pads.

I drove the Legacy this weekend....it's been a while since I drove it and paid extra attention to the braking. The pedal travel definitely is less. However I didn't think I had to use more leg/foot effort to get the same braking effort out of the car. I would say though that since the travel is less the modulation of braking might be a little more difficult. Again, I think brake pedal feel is heavily subjective and comes down a lot to personal preference.

When will you be up in Wa again Josh? I don't think you've driven a stock 22t with a td05 & robtune, have you? Maybe we can setup a "Drive and compare my legacy" day ;)

I'll be up 9/14 - 9/18 for my niece and nephew's birthdays. I don't want to plan too much so I can spend time with them, but I should be able to make time for a drive and compare.

Kimo for the Master cylinder brace do you think it would be possible to install it without removal of the master cylinder?
I upgraded to 4 pot 2 pot and still feel that the brakes are lacking on feel.
I plan to put stainless steel lines on soon but have been dying to see if I can put a Master cylinder brace on, it made such a difference on my WRX!!

In general you should be able to get the brace on without removing the master cylinder. There may be certain braces that fit better than others so it may not be a one size fits all type of thing.
