This was my 1993 legacy turbo, I had her for a year and a half (unfortunately an auto). I had plans to do some mild performance mods, but all I had done so far was the snorkus/snorkel delete.

Some idiot in a minivan pulled a u-turn right in front of me and I hit him. I was probably the most mad I have ever been, this is my second car (previous car was a 95 saturn which sucked balls).

thanks for getting those pics up, im kinda computer illiterate.

Im waiting for the insurance company to tell me how much they are gonna give me for it, Im hoping at least $2000 (canadian). It still runs, and some guy at the scrapyard got in it at started it and was revving the shit out of it. I was kinda pissed cause the motor is probably still in good shape. It was not running very clean (u can see in one of the pics), but when I looked at the pictures later I realized the mass air sensor wasn't even hooked up, so maybe thats why it was running shitty.

I need some parts too if it ends up getting parted out. Black plastic trim on drivers side a-pillar extending up to top of door (shaped like a curved hockey stick). Has to have the motorized seat belt thingy so the trim has the groove for it.

I finally got a figure from my insurance company, they are going to give me $3500 canadian (approx. $2900 US) for my car. Im happy with that, but now I have to find a new car. I've been looking for a SS 5MT but I can't find any legacys near me, nevermind a rare 5 speed. I don't want it to come to this but I might have to look elsewhere, as in not a subaru. Somebody please help me.

Find a 5MT N/A and swap the engine in. Engine, ECU, exhaust, and crossmember. You could probably skate with the N/A radiator. That might sound tough, but it really is an easy weekend job.

I went nuts and flew to L.A. to buy my car. The car was well worth it and the drive back was one of the most amazing things I've ever done in my life. Don't be afraid to go the distance if you find a real gem.

The car was insured under my dads name, so he worked out all the insurance stuff and I asked him where the car went and he said the insurance company took it to their yard or whatever. Im going home (toronto) this weekend and I will try to find out where the car is, I would like to see her go to somebody who will appriciate her. Oh, and Nico I am interested in that impreza, I will disscuss it with my father on the weekend.
