I'm thinking....why is this guy putting carbon fiber into a rattle canned gauge cluster trim piece. Are you serious? lol I'm going to assume you're going to paint that or you're just using it for a mock up so you don't have to remove your unpainted gauge cluster trim from your car until the carbon fiber is ready.

its done, well for the most part. still have to find some LEDs for the blinkers and highbeams and that should do it. as well as a fuel guage

it fells so good now. when i shift it doesnt boog down and sounds so much better. however it isnt fully rebuilt :( just cleaned heads with valve job and new seals and gaskets. but no leaks at all :-D

yea i goes over the old cluster. so if ineeded to i could just take it off and the old one would be right there

Not bad. Now go to the junkyard and get a new matching glovebox and gauge cluster trim and de-rice your poor car!

Do you have the gauges set back far enough where you don't get any reflection on the windshield at night?

So what exactly are all of the gauges and what happened to the one of the far right?

And are you using your GPS for a speedometer? Have you tested its accuracy?

yea i think im going to repaint it with that plastic dip stuff.

yea there is no glare at night

far left is water temp, then tach, then GPS, will be fuel guage(just have to get one and figure how to wire it up)

bottom left oil temp then volt

yes GPS is for speed and i figured it was very accurate. how would i check. my speedo used to kind of get stuck after i put the white face guages on so it wasnt very accurate.

Ah well I would test the accuracy of the GPS in another car then, especially if you can find a car with a digital speedo (such as an S2000), but any car will do. That way you can make sure that it reads within 1-2 MPH of any given speed.

PS, you should try to wire up a light for the CEL, that way you'll know if something bad is happening.

well it has never come on in the 3 years that i have had the car, so either the bulb is broke or maybe it doesnt have one or maybe there is nothing ever wrong with it :D
