Re: New pics. Intake added: 11/19

Post by 92legacy-sti »

Thanks! Yea the intake caused the car to lose a bit of power at low rpms, but smoothing the engine out and more power through the mid to high rpms helps a lot. The JDM fogs don't have a blinker, just a regular fog light with H3 bulbs in them. All metal and glass too.

Yes very nice, think you need some bronze rims to add some more zip to it.

^ That's what I was thinking. The 15" turbo wheels are much better than the steel wheels I had, but I was thinking 16" or 17" gold 5 spoke wheels. Better brakes to go with them as well.

Thanks for the comments everyone.

At least you'll never forget the make of your car. :P
Car looks good, especially with the fogs. Nice photog work.

You could get some fozzy wheels. If they come off a Forester S odds are they are alloy, 16", and also five spoke. I got a set on my car and love them, gives it more of a tough look.

Yea I saw those on your car. They look good! I have somone locally who is going to sell me a set of the 16" 5 spoke gold RS wheels from a 98-99 RS. If that deal falls through, I may look into a set of Forester wheels.

Never thought those wheels looked good in anything other than the factory silver. But I'm starting to reconsider.

Monster truck status on your front end. Are you using impreza struts?

The front has the factory struts. (getting replaced soon) I think in that photo its just the way the car is parked. The parking space is angled down slightly. I'm thinking of trying coilovers or STI struts though.

I use to think that way too until I found these.

Still crazy jealous of the whole exterior look. Have you thought about baking the headlights?

Finally got my car back on the road. The automatic transmission quit completely in April 2012. It sat for over a year untill I found a later model impreza 5 speed manual transmission to replace it. Also had to repaint the quarter panels and rear bumper. Here are some recent pics.

Also picked up a full set of 05 STI seats yesterday.
