w00t!

You ever get a chance to throw it on a dyno this summer?

No, I have not. Honestly, I am not satisfied with the RevTronix chip and it's capabilities, so if it goes on a dyno in it's current state it will be for a cheap group dyno day if another one gets organized around the Seattle area soon.

On the other hand, I would like to go with a MegaSquirt standalone like I have on my Z28 for many reasons. A couple would be:
More smoothness on boost transition.
Higher boost target.
Fully tuneable boost solenoid control (no more part throttle full boost or cruise control shenanigans)
Better warmup driving characteristics.
Launch control/flat foot shifting.
No more MAF; custom intake removing old brittle rubber pieces.
Bigger, newer STI 550 injectors.
Maybe add Delta cams/Wiseco pistons or other mods and take better advantage of them.

If that ever gets done, I will likely pay for some dyno time just to see what I can put down. :)

How easy is it to install the keyless entry system? I'd like to do that to my TW.

BTW, what kind of cruise control shenanigans are you experiencing?

You'll need to install an actuator in the driver's door, and wire up the brain unit. If you know how to do some electrical work & testing, you shouldn't have a problem doing it.

Not to take this too much more off topic, but yes, exactly what Josh said. When I had my autostart alarm installed, they just added an actuator to the drivers door and it works like a champ. Any place that installs autostarts or alarms should be able to do it for you without much hassle. If you know basic electrical, and can read the wiring diagrams, you could install it yourself.

Anybody know a good brand or kit? Are the passenger doors the only ones that unlock and lock on their own?

All the doors but the driver's door already have an actuator in them. But since they are controlled from the driver's button, you actuate that, and it'll open all the other doors.

What they said, you only need to add an actuator in the driver's door, which will actuate the other doors through the factory central-locking system.

I used a Code Alarm because it was cheap and has some really factory looking remotes. I don't like the blingy huge aftermarket remotes much.

The cruise control issue with a manual boost controller is that if you hit a hill that it builds boost on with CC on, you get a feedback loop where the car accelerates strongly until it is going too fast, then the cruise control lets off and you lose boost and decelerate too fast, then the cruise control steps on it and boosts again, overshoots target speed, lets off and decelerates, then boosts again, etc. A throttle-mapped electronic boost controller wouldn't have this issue, and the factory EBC controlled by the ECU does not have this issue.
