So The Legacy continues with the addition of a beautiful Satin White Pearl GT. Happened to come across this over last weekend just doing as I normaly do and look at cars for sale. Saw that it was near my parents house so I decided to call and see if I could get approved and see how much insurance would be and it was good so I jumped on it. Have wanted one of these for quite sometime now. Definitely one of the best looking Subarus to date. I am very satisfied with buying this car and still can't believe that I did since I had no interest in buying a car anytime soon but it was meant to be I guess.
Love at first sight

Trying to find out who the previous owner was so I can figure out what else was done to the car. I know at one time he had a boost guage.

Mods:
Prodrive shift knob
Megan dual tip mufflers with full exhuast.
Enkei NT03+M 17''
AEM CAI system
slotted front rotors
Bilstein rear suspension

That is a sick car. I want one pretty bad myself. Having said that, how much you want for your brakes?

That is exactly what I have been looking for. Either that color or the silver. Not going to buy an auto. Seem almost impossible to find one close.
Beautiful car. Enjoy it.

Jeff

Nothing major as of yet, just making sure it is ok and not messed up. Some over a LGT said I may have a STG II so I'll be buying an AP soon so I can tune it.

I'm running AP also, id recommend an open source tune if u have a tuner that's local.

So progress has been slow on this car also as I have been trying to get the SS back up and running. Ordered stock mud flap or splash guards from the dealership and threw those on. Pretty easy, only took an hour for all 4.

Don't forget to check the operation of your splagh guards!

Nice! I agree 100% about it being the nicest Subaru to date. Though the 05-07 5spd wagons have it beat IMO ;-)

I thought the same way to but Subaru seems to be very good at building cars that look absolutely ugly untill you lower them and put a nice set of rims on them.

Yeah, I can't say I'm a huge fan of the overly bloated 10+ Legacy. Even lowered, it still looks bloated.

^Thanks guys and I guess I am a fan of the beached whale because I want an SVX also.
So in other news I recently got my VAGCOM so I can try my hand in tuning or atleast so I can get an understanding and view different things for before and afters. Also hoping this can translate through to the ECUTuner that I have been trying to work with for the N/A Legacy.

Yes I did a google search on what VAGCOM is, but I still find it funny

It's funny, the current iteration makes the best Outback ever - but the worst Legacy ever.

Well drove the car from Mobile, AL all the way to DC for a wedding and then to Ligonier PA to pick up 06 Spec B seats and door cards and rims. I love the look and am very happy. It was a long drive but I have wanted to do this for this was the plan from the get go with this car and I was able to make it happen. I am pretty sure I am the only SWP 05 with the Brick Red leather.

Pictars will be up later

Nice. But isn't spec C a step up from spec B?
Can I have your bilsteins?

I guess but they don't sell those here and i wouldnt want to try and ship interior from Japan or europe. They might be for sale but I only have the rears and they will not work with the first gens.
