So I drove up to Tacoma today. Changed my oil before I left, I used 5W-30 this time with an OEM Subaru Filter. The car had 5 people in it and was loaded to the rim with gear in the back. Still ran like a champ even though it was overloaded. I cruised with a couple STI's on the way up. First trip i've made in it and it was fine. Open downpipe + longtrip = annoying..

I used Snapseed for iPhone on those really clear pictures.

The lip is an STi Limited V 06-07 lip, it's a replica off eBay it was $60.

The wheels look like they were done in Dupli-color bronze wheel paint. I know this because I did a set of those wheels in the exact color. In fact, I wonder if those are my old wheels.

Hard to see, but here they are on my wagon way back in '08.

Ya know, i'm pretty sure they were painted with that bronze. I freakin love that color. I'm gonna paint my SS wheels that color pretty soon. Looks so good.

Ahhh! I miss this thing. I heard you've gone through em like water since this one robert! Haha.
@dreadnok The lip is a 06-07 sti S204 front lip. Took alot of cutting and modding but I think there's a good write up on it here!
And the wheels were totally painted with Duplicolor! It was exactly the color I wanted and it wasn't expensive.
Wish you'd been able to go through with the 5MT swap:(

Benny is that you!?

I totally miss this thing, seeing it a few days ago made me wish I did a 5spd swap and a motor rebuild. I sold the kid who has it now my old FXT top mount. The car is still really clean, the kid loves it. Still open stock downpipe, and still slow haha. After I sold this, I bought my 93' SS, I traded that very briefly for a stroked 93 SS but it ended back in my arms, thank god. The 93' with the stroked 2.37 was a beast but a nightmare.. and now my SS is running awesome!

The duplicolor was SUCH a good color. Gonna do that same color to my wheels pretty soon.

Yessir! I was mad bummed to hear about the plans falling through with it:(
I don't know what it was about that car but it just looked good! I couldn't justify keeping it with the 14mpg around town though! Hahaha.
Did you sell your stroker to a kid named Cameron? He sold me my forester earlier this year.
For sure man, the duplicolor actually turned out well! Still have a can of it I think if you'd like it next time you're in the area. i just primed them black and then sprayed!

No joke, I totally know what you mean, it looked great. I miss those roof racks a lot. and YEAH I did! Cameron bought it from "thesubielover" in Seattle, tried to get it tuned at PRE and they fucked the car up with wiring, then traded me cause he didn't wanna deal with it. His Forester was really clean, that thing was slammed too for awhile, dunno if it's still on coilovers or not. He just bought a 91' Leggy Turbo that he's gonna build up, i've been tellin him to swap the stroker motor into that haha. He had a really clean 99' RS coupe for awhile too.

hell yeah man that'd be cool! then at least with one can of it I can find the color if I need more
