Congrats, I know it has to be such a great feeling. And winestone is one of my favorite colors. Though I think you should put some gold rims on her.

you know i really should make a "how to" on this conversion. it's actually really simple. the only things that need to be modified is the side marker hole needs to be re sized to fit the light assembly in there and the headlight points of mounting need to be re drilled on the core support. other then that its a bolt right up thing.

-Wow, really? I heard/read that, I think it was the fenders were like an inch shorter or longer.
-Also, not that I would want to, but is it possible to keep the 92-94 bumper if I was to change the fenders, hood, lights and grill?

The 92-4 bumper wont work. Thats the first thing i tried. It doesnt match the bottom of the headlights at all. The 92 bumper doesnt mount to the 91 beam at all either.

On my car i did a full core support and headlight support swap.

in order to have it all bolt up you need the complete front end ( body pannels) of the car. hood, fenders, bumper skin, bumper beam, headlights and mounts, blinkers, grill.

if you want to go the route where you dont have to redrill the headlight mounting points then expect to cut off the core support and replace it with a 90 - 91. how well that fits up? i have no idea... haha

Oh! and don't forget the hood latch too. the arm on the 92-94 is actually longer and will interfere with the hood closing.

happy boostin!

-Great info. Well this summer its getting done. I don't care if the car has to be a bunch of different colors!

The 90-91 core support fits up fine, You just gotta be patient and take measurements from the fender bolts corner to corner. top left bolt by hood to bottom right bolt above the corner marker. I think mine came out to 63 1/8"

The spot welds on the headlight buckets are a little different as far as location. Still weldable tho. it also helps to have the headlights and grill on to aid proper installation.

As you stated tho, Yes you need ALL of those parts.
