Yeah the car is for sale on craigslist actually, asking 6k or 7500 w/ trailer. Car is a bit rough though, the dude also WELDED the coilovers to the car... and the rear fenders are rolled bad, smh. 6k is a bit high IMO, car is stock besides FMIC and downpipe, which is all for looks/sound. VF11, stock BCS, etc.

Ya figured it would be rough. The look is good and does follow the 'budget' theme. But 6k!

The guy is also a "not so nice kind of guy." He would always ask questions about piggy backs on facebook. Altho me and several others suggested he come to this site and do some research, he wouldn't take the time to look and would still ask ask ask. It turned into quite an argument (about how we're trying to help you and your not listening) and users ended up being banned and he left the group.

I bought a car from him years ago, he is OK to deal with in person but he has a bit of an attitude online. The reason his asking price is so high is because he is trying to capitalize on his following on StanceNation and other "hellaflush" groups to separate somebody who loves the look of his car from their money for more than is fair. I understand the motivation but we here on the BBS need to understand that we aren't his target market at all. :P

This is the car I bought from him, it was clean and lowered well and not crazy which I appreciated.

The idea of this build was cool. But the guy is a total prick. I have complimented his sedan in the past and he's all like "uhh yeah I know". Such a tool. I usually don't bash on people. But whatever.

@robert
Yeah I was blown away at how cocky him and that casey guy(the dude with the red 2nd gen wagon on the NW AWD forum) are. Like not even cocky but more like just complete dicks. I'd say he belongs in the Honda scene to be honest. That's the vibe all those guys have.
Dude how've you been? What are you driving now??

Oh dude I didn't even realize who you were!! Haha fuck it's been a minute! I sold my white SS (big mistake), picked up a shitty 91' SS ended up just getting rid of it, had a bad motor. Just recently picked up a 94' LSi wagon from Vancouver for $200! Had no title but I ended up being able to get all the paperwork. Totally clean and straight, just needs a new auto tranny but i'm trying to go 5 Speed as soon as I can.

Bummer man. That was a clean car! I was slightly envious.
the lgt is now owned by a guy in seattle! I no longer have it. But iI trust he is caring for it. I have a 93 L for the mtn and an infiniti for my commute. I'm still jealous about your 200 dollar swoop!

Wtf!! Crazy. Was it this grill? If so.. I was going to buy that next week actually.. lol.

http://portland.craigslist.org/clk/pts/4264469460.html

I saw the tw on Craigslist quite a few times.. I miss that thing! it was clean! I should have kept it for a trans swap but I just wanted a sedan real bad. Was it the owner a younger kid? If not that kid probably did go through with selling it.. STi scoop eh? That's cool. Was it still on those LGT snowflakes? Hows the infiniti?

Yeah! That's the grill! :P it went back to its rightful owner yesterday. Haha. I agree! I didn't realize how clean it was. It was a younger kid but he recently purchased it. It was still on the wheels! I was happy to see that. He's got some good plans for it.
What kind of issues did the car have when you owned it? Did you say the turbo needed rebuilt? It also still needs the duty C solenoid in the tranny. No one ever replaced that so it still shudders in turns sometimes he said.

Bumerrrrrr I totally wanted that, but I'm glad it went back to the car! That's such a crazy coincidence. Problems I had were it had a vac leak that I didn't track down and it would stumble upon start up only sometimes. The trans felt like it was slipping cause it honestly felt like it didn't pull at all. Duty C was never replaced. Other than that it was fine. I replaced the turbo with a lower mile VF11 because the original one blew out. A small line for the coolant cross over pipe split so I had to remove the intake mani to get to it so I did new manifold gaskets and stuff. The motor still purrrred.
