teamCONTEracing Legacy at STPR 2014

Had the 2014 STPR rally in Wellsboro, PA last weekend. It was quite a legacy filled weekend for me. Borrowed Jason's modified 94 Legacy for recce, killed the fuel pump on it by the end of the day. Flat towed that back to AllWheelsDriven shop for them to deal with. Rented a house with the guys who bought my old legacy, so had two rally prepped Legacy's hanging out together (legi?).

Anyways, we ended up first in class, and 2nd overall out of 48 cars in the regional, and 10th overall out of 68 cars entered. Only a minute or so behind some factory backed teams. Pretty happy with our pace, but still have a lot of improvements to make! Here is a video of the highlights from this race.

Near the end the axle broke on the front left outer CV boot, the plated differential let me limp through the rest of the stage and make it out of the control. Was towed 25 miles back to service and got the axle changed in 11 minutes by my incredible crew. Finished up the Super Special stage and secured our win!

Yeah I bet! I guess she wouldn't get too freaked out about slightly agressive driving on the road then if she can handle hurdling down a dirt road in the woods.
