more spesficaly which cars do i find these things in so i can find it in a junk yard or at the local parts counter

I've read that the only car that came with the 3-bar MAP sensor from the factory was the 1989 Pontiac Trans Am with the 3.8-liter V6 turbo engine.

ive heard of these things at junk yards but i know i wont find one of thoes in any junkyard ever. not even its little black brother the gn

Yeah, I don't think you have much of a shot finding one in a junkyard. You may be better off dropping 60 bucks on a new one with a warranty.
