hi all
i now its not a stone stuck on the tires threat, i know its not my valves that are ticking, the noise comes from under the vehicle and not the engine, what may it be? it only makes the ticking noise when i accelerate and can only be hear if i drive by the median.
thanks in advance

Could be CV joint. Check to see if any of your boots are broke.

It could. And besides, it's time to replace that half-shaft. Not a good idea to be driving around with broken boots.nsantos23 wrote:one of my boots is ripped, that can make a ticking noise?

Sounds exactly what I have and it's my driver's side outer CV joint. The boot was ripped when I replaced the engine and it had been making that noise for a while. If you go up under, look at the boot and then yank and pull on the axle. Then go to the other side and do the same. Any difference?
