AGX install ? on '91 L sedan

Post by fngearhead »

I've got some AGXs (93-01 Impreza) coming soon. I'll be pairing them with Matt Monson's RS coils. I picked up a set of 97 Impreza OB complete struts from the boneyard. My question is, do I need any other parts to make this combo work? I'm wondering about the rear top mounts in particular. I've searched until my head spins. Whatta ya think?

the 91 rear mounts and perches will not work with 93-01 Impreza springs. You need the parts out of an Impreza or a 92-94 Legacy.

In the front there may or may not be three different sping perches between the pre- and post-face lift legacies and 93-01 Imprezas.

I'm planning to use all the Impreza OB stuff except the coils and struts. I'm just wondering if all 4 Impreza mounts will bolt right in to my '91 body.

You should just buy some Eibach or H&R springs and make it easy. Its har don the wallet but you get a stiffer spring rate and dont have to worry about what fits what.

Oh well then yes the OBS tops and perches will work with the RS springs and bolt right into your car.
