Local Leg spotted

Post by Manarius »

I was powerwashing my car earlier today, and what do I see, but another Leg pulls into the bay beside me to powerwash their engine. 'Twas a 92 or newer...and black. Also was an L model...maybe anyone around here knows them? A guy about 25 was driving....

Did you approach him about the site?

I usually approach other SS drivers or TW drivers, often leaving little friendly notes on the winshield of the cars.

At this point, I only mention the bbs to turbo owners or na owners if they need help with anything or are having trouble locating a part. I know it sounds elitist, but there's just so many god damned legacies out there, far too many talk to all of their owners

Ya, as sad as it is, to most people, the Legacies, especially non-turbos, are just another cheap import to get them to work.

I always wonder when I see an STI or wrx go by if the owner actually knows anything about the car...

even people that are interested in the cars aren't interested in the site....

I stopped to see if I could buy this SS that hasn't moved in the 5 years I've lived here...

it has a blown tranny, apparently, but the guy won't sell it because he "has plans" for it.. that most likely include letting it sit on his lawn for another 5 years...

I told him I knew of a website where he could find a tranny, and he kinda blew it off..

I figure I'll go back in a month or two with cash in hand and see how his "plans" are going?
yo mang, can I get a rootshell?

Saw a 94 Touring Wagon today. Couldn't stop the driver to mention the site though :(. Pity, looked to be in great shape. Snapped a pic with my cellphone though.

Hehe, that reminds me I saw a hot college girl with a red SS a while ago. I would have scared her off by commenting on her car, but she looked mad.
